21cm Intensity Mapping: Progress and Challenges

Richard Shaw

CITA

21cm intensity mapping is a promising probe of cosmic structure at redshift z ~ 1-2, with one of the key science goals to provide good constraints on the BAO scale in this window. This technique is not without its difficulties, foremost being contamination from astrophysical foregrounds. I will introduce this field, discuss our recent work attempting to address its challenges, and briefly describe progress of the Green Bank Telescope collaboration.
